Overview of the Roland VR-120 HD

The Roland VR-120HD is a high-performance all-in-one video switcher designed for live events, broadcasts, and productions. It is the largest and most advanced model in Roland’s VR Series of vision mixers, with a range of features and capabilities to meet the needs of professional video producers.

New I/O

The VR-120HD supports up to 12 input sources, including 6 x HDMI, 6 x SDI, as well as embedded audio. It also includes six XLR audio inputs for connecting external audio sources, such as microphones or mixers. The mixer features advanced audio processing capabilities, including a built-in equalizer, compressor, and limiter, as well as support for audio embedding and de-embedding.

The mixer can output Full HD via 3 x HDMI and 3 x 3G-SDI outputs and includes a built-in scaler for upscaling or downscaling input sources to match the output resolution. It also includes advanced video effects processing capabilities, including chroma keying, picture-in-picture, and split-screen layouts.
